Sick of seeing people struggle!

Darmoo House Support was created from a very real need. When I was searching for support of my own while going through a series of traumatic events, I found that it was not only expensive, but often unavailable, even with insurance, resources, and the willingness to pay for help. And once I finally did find help, I often spent hours in the “getting to know me” stage when what I really needed was to get down to the problem. So frustrating.

Over time, I found a support group that helped me in a way one-on-one therapy had not. It was totally unexpected.  I did not always need tools to fix the problem. Sometimes, I just needed to hear that someone understood and that I was not the only one. That alone gave me the strength and wherewithal to move forward.

Eventually, the support group I attended fizzled out. But by then, I had discovered how powerful that kind of support could be, and I felt compelled to create that space for others. I started devouring any information on therapeutic processes that I could get my hands on. I took every class, listened to every podcast, and joined as many support groups as I  could.....just to get an education on how I can use this experience to help others. I also gained a huge amount of knowledge on how to keep life balanced even when everything is going great.

Darmoo House Support exists to offer that kind of space: a safe, structured, human place where people can show up as they are, talk honestly, feel understood, and work through life’s challenges together. Some don't want to talk, they just want to listen and bring tools into their owns lives from other discussions. But this group is not only for people who are already struggling or facing a specific problem. It is also a place to maintain your mental and emotional well-being — like a mind gym — where you can check in with yourself, build resilience, prepare for life’s challenges, and stay mentally grounded before things become overwhelming.

The membership fee helps make this possible. It supports access to vital and helpful information from therapists and other trusted professionals within my community circle, while also helping cover practical needs such as website costs, Zoom, administrative expenses, resources, and the continued development of meaningful support for members.

If you find this group is not for you, you can cancel anytime, no questions asked. I am here to help, not make money.
