Years ago, my husband and I met in a Boy Scout Troop that we had signed our children up for in the San Francisco Bay Area. After many changes, discussions and planning, we decided to start our own troop. We managed to grow it from 6 scouts, to almost 38 scouts within only a few years. My son earned Eagle only a short time ago, so I have chosen to step down to focus on other life goals.

As a young teenage girl, I had always looked up to the Boy Scouts that I attended High School with. They were always talking about the great adventures they embarked on and all of the valuable skills that came along with Scouting. But alas, I was girl, and could not join in the fun. Fast forward to our more modern times, when females can join, and there I was, living the dream... going on great adventures, learning new things, and loving every minute of being a Scoutmaster.

Our troop is very proud of their achievements and has probably one of the best group of humorous teens you could ask for. The scouts and the parents were always looking for ways to personalize their patrols and the troop as a whole when it came to apparel, scout bling, etc.

We started creating different treasures that expressed the type of troop we are. Before long, we were asked if we could help create those same items for other troops that we got to know thru summer camp and other counsel-wide events. Now we are sharing them.
